A night of literary performance, expanding beyond ‘the reading’ into the conceptual, and exploring how the visual aspects of literature, and its material language, can be revealed live, before an audience. An event in the poem brut tradition of live making, writing, reading, bringing together staff, students and visiting writers. This evening was also the launch of the 2024 Sampson Low Student Poetry Pamphlets - Mold by Oscar Rodriguez and Bees by Jessica Pritchard as well as the launch of SJ Fowler’s ‘Crocodile Tear Waterfalls : Selected Uncollected Visual Poems 2011-2023’ from Penteract Press.
