Sound Poetry and Sonic Literature
January Tuesday 30th 2024 : Town House Building at Kingston University
A night celebrating the potential of the human voice and live literature, in the grand tradition of Sound Poetry, Sonic Art, Noise Making, Mouth Music and Improvised Vocalisation, all performed as new solo and collaboration pieces, acoustic, in the award winning Town House courtyard space of Kingston University. An event exploring how sound communicates before, and with, words; evidencing how sound in poetry and literature in general, can be physical, moving beyond sense, and control.
